As our mind becomes relaxed, events that usually disturb us lose their importance and we consider them less dramatically. Through meditation, the mind gradually learns to no longer be distracted by circumstances. When the mind is not affected by internal and external movements, it is able to discover its own stability and tranquility. A stable, undisturbed mind leads us to experience less suffering in our life.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” open_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” open_toggle_background_color=”gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d” Milarepa is the perfect example of both a devoted disciple and a benevolent master. He is known for his renunciation, his ardour for meditation, and also for his spontaneous songs, expressions of wisdom and compassion. In order to accomplish this guru yoga, it is first necessary to familiarise oneself with the formal aspects: the different phases of the ritual, the gestures that accompany meditation, the songs and music, as well as the preparation of offerings. Practising the formal aspects of the ritual prepares us to better receive explanations of its meaning.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” open_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” This meditation, which purifies negativity and veils, reveals our deepest nature.
This course is designed for people who are committed to the foundational practices of Mahamudra and who wish to receive explanations on Dorje Sempa with a view to putting them into practice. Explanations will be based on the commentary by Lodro Thaye, the 1st Jamgon Kongtrul, (1818 – 1899), entitled The Torch of Certainty, and will alternate with periods of formal practice.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” This text, transmitted by Maitreya to Asanga in the fifth century CE, explores the Buddha nature. Perfectly pure, unconditioned, and unalterable, this nature is the fundamental essence of all sentient beings. The entire purpose of the Buddhist path is to reveal this nature by eliminating the adventitious obscurations that temporarily veil it. Studying this text allows one to become familiar with this essential concept, as presented by Buddha Shakyamuni in his third turning of the wheel of Dharma.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” open_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” open_toggle_background_color=”gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d” closed_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” closed_toggle_background_color=”gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d” icon_color=”gcid-primary-color” toggle_icon=”3||divi||400″ use_icon_font_size=”on” icon_font_size=”22px” open_icon_color=”gcid-primary-color” open_toggle_icon=”2||divi||400″ open_use_icon_font_size=”on” open_icon_font_size=”22px” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” title_level=”h3″ title_font=”–et_global_body_font||||||||” title_font_size=”18px” body_font_size=”16px” body_line_height=”1.4em” background_color=”#FFFFFF” border_width_all=”0px” global_colors_info=”{%22gcid-primary-color%22:%91%22closed_toggle_text_color%22,%22open_toggle_text_color%22,%22open_icon_color%22,%22icon_color%22%93,%22gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d%22:%91%22open_toggle_background_color%22,%22closed_toggle_background_color%22%93}”]

Teacher
Dhongtsang Shabdrung Rinpoche is a highly realized lama of the Sakyapa lineage, one of the four main schools of Tibetan buddhism. He is considered an emanation of Sangye Yeshe, one of the 25 close disciples of Guru Rinpoche. Recognized at the age of 8 by the head of the Sakya lineage, His Holiness Sakya Trizin, and by Shamar Rinpoche, he is well-versed in both the Sakya and Kagyu traditions. In his previous incarnation, he was the elder brother of the 16th Karmapa. Having completed his studies in Buddhist philosophy, he now teaches both Buddhist philosophy and Vajrayana tantras. He is a lineage holder of the Hevajra practice, one of the principal Yidams in the Vajrayana Buddhist tantras. Although he belongs to the Sakyapa lineage, he has received the most significant transmissions and initiation cycles from His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje, and from masters of various schools. He is currently the principal instructor at Dhongtsang Monastery (China).

Recommended book
Traité de la continuité insurpassable de Maitreya, ed. It is by understanding how we ourselves function that we can understand others. Then what is known as the enlightened mind can emerge. This begins with an intention and translates into a growing ability to help others in practical ways. There are no shortcuts on this path, but the conditions necessary for developing the enlightened mind are explained during the course.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” open_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” As our mind becomes relaxed, events that usually disturb us lose their importance and we consider them less dramatically. Through meditation, the mind gradually learns to no longer be distracted by circumstances. When the mind is not affected by internal and external movements, it is able to discover its own stability and tranquility. A stable, undisturbed mind leads us to experience less suffering in our life.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Information” open_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” open_toggle_background_color=”gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d” closed_toggle_text_color=”gcid-primary-color” closed_toggle_background_color=”gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d” icon_color=”gcid-primary-color” toggle_icon=”3||divi||400″ use_icon_font_size=”on” icon_font_size=”22px” open_icon_color=”gcid-primary-color” open_toggle_icon=”2||divi||400″ open_use_icon_font_size=”on” open_icon_font_size=”22px” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” title_level=”h3″ title_font=”–et_global_body_font||||||||” title_font_size=”18px” body_font_size=”16px” body_line_height=”1.4em” background_color=”#FFFFFF” border_width_all=”0px” global_colors_info=”{%22gcid-primary-color%22:%91%22closed_toggle_text_color%22,%22open_toggle_text_color%22,%22open_icon_color%22,%22icon_color%22%93,%22gcid-0e31f813-9b2e-4fdd-9a29-d8b4986da10d%22:%91%22open_toggle_background_color%22,%22closed_toggle_background_color%22%93}”]Teachers
Lama Jean-Guy and Lama Trinlé Dordjé

Recommended book
Boundless Awakening: The Heart of Buddhist Meditation, by Shamar Rinpoche, Rabsel Publishing.

Important
This course is intended for those already familiar with the practice of meditation.
